250 grams tagliatelle
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 onion, chopped
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 small zucchini, chopped into small pieces
½ teaspoon chili powder or fresh chili pepper, chopped
Salt & pepper
Shredded parmesan cheese
How to prepare it:
Cook pasta according to the package instructions. Save 1 cup of hot pasta water.
In a large saucepan heat olive oil over medium-high heat, add onion, garlic and zucchini and cook until golden brown. Add chili pepper, salt & pepper to taste. Turn the heat off and add 1 jar of Mama’s ljutenica, stir to combine.
Add pasta and stir to coat with the red sauce. Add a little bit of the saved pasta water if it’s a bit dry.
Serve with shredded parmesan cheese.
